Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee (COSR) together with the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania, the office of the “Haydar Aliyev Foundation” in Romania and the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented the first edition of the European Games, multisport competition which will be held this year in Baku between 12th and 28th of June.
The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania has the honor to announce the international essay competition under the theme of “What Do I know about Azerbaijan?” jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The main aim of the competition is to raise the level of awareness among Romanian youth about Azerbaijan and provide an opportunity for travelling to Azerbaijan during the summer of 2015 in order to get more in-depth information about the country, its culture, history, ethnography, foreign policy and people.

On 15-16 September 2014 date Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov made an official visit to Romania.
In the framework of his official visit to Romania Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev located in the Tei Park of the Bucharest city, paid a tribute to great leader and laid a wreath on the monument.
