6th International Environmental Exhibition – “Caspian: Technologies for Environment”

The Embassy has the honor to inform the interested public and private representatives of Romania in the field of ecological technologies about the 6th International Environmental Exhibition – “Caspian: Technologies for Environment”, which is planned to be held in Baku city between 18 – 20 November 2015.

The above mentioned exhibition is one of the key events in the Caspian region for environmental protection and is a reliable platform for annual meeting between experts and producers of equipment, products and services in the sphere of ecological technologies.

Ministerial Meeting of AGRI project participating states

A meeting of the Ministers in charge of the energy sector of the participating states of the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania-Hungary liquefied natural gas project – AGRI, was held in Bucharest, Romania on June 24, 2015 with participation of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Natig Aliyev. The positions of the participating countries regarding the implementation of the project, the final outcomes of the feasibility study and opportunities for financing the project were discussed during the meeting, which was joined by senior officials of the AGRI participating states.

The ceremony was attended by the members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, counselors of the Presidential Administration of Romania, ex-president of Romania Mr. Ion Iliescu, ex-minister of foreign affairs Mr. Titus Corlatean, chairman from the Romanian side to the Romania-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Mr. Iulian Iancu, deputies and senators, representatives of local NGO’s, National Olympic Committee and members of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Iranian diaspora living in Romania.
